Our Background
How We Got Here
Nancy's son Chet started this site in the late 1990s. Every morning, he would post a photo of the snow gauge he made, measure the new snow accumulation, and record high/low temperatures before riding his snowmobile to high school.
Our very first webcam was a Logitech QuickCam. Needing an upgrade, Nancy bought a Stardot Technologies NetCam IP Camera for Chet to install.
Chet taught Nancy how to update comments on the website before he went away for college.
In 2012, we created our facebook page.

In 2017, the NetCam bit the dust, and Chet found us a different camera. With some help from YOUR donations, we bought the camera, and Chet installed it.

Nancy does 99.9% of the updates, and Chet does the maintenance on the camera and website.
